The vision of LIFETEEN is for teens to immerse themselves in the life of the parish and the Church as a whole.
Life Teen meets every Saturday night for Mass at 4:30 pm and stay for youth group until 9:00 pm
(September - June)
Life Teen
LIFETEEN is a Catholic youth ministry program that began in 1985 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Mesa, Arizona. the program was developed out of the need for young people to feel loved in the Catholic Church.LIFETEEN began here at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church on September 23, 2000. We were the first parish in our diocese to start LIFETEEN.It is a program centered around the celebration of the Mass.
The goal is to lead teens closer to Christ.
Throughout the year Life Teen goes on many trips and retreats including:
March for Life in January in Washington, D.C.
Lake Delta Retreat Center in May
Steubenville Youth Conference in Ohio in July
Summer activities such as:
Enchanted Forest
Camping
Peterpaul Recreation Park
Concerts
Movies
Life Teen is busy with fundraisers:
Bottle/Can drive
Car wash
Basket raffles
Baking Thanksgiving Pies, Christmas Cookies, Easter Bread and more!
